About Us.
Choose Your Cause is an organisation designed to educate and empower the future generation about local and international issues that impact people, particularly adolescents like themselves. We aim to provide them with the tools necessary for them to discover their charitable passion in life, independent of their career endeavours, to help develop multi-faceted individuals with broadened perspectives and international-mindedness. By collaborating with smaller charities and directly with affected communities, we aim to explore, raise funds and awareness surrounding under-publicised causes and charities.
In order to provide our audience with a plethora of causes to discover their charitable passion, we collaborate with eight new local and international charities with varying causes every year which form the basis of our annual youth programme. Every year we add share new charities to our supporters. If you are passionate about sharing the cause of a specific organisation, please do not hesitate to reach out, so people like ourselves and those around you can learn and broaden their perspective!
This youth programme is divided into a three-step process: explore, educate, empower.
Explore: Explore the local and international charities and the various causes they stand for to find something of your interest.
Educate: Educate yourself and your peers regarding your chosen cause as well as the corresponding charity you wish to support.
Empower: Empower the affect communities by actioning your passion and raising awareness and funds to support the amazing work that your chosen charity does.
